The
Wartook valley encompasses the north-west region of the Grampians National
Park, and is often nicknamed, the 'sunset side' of the Grampians.
The area provides a lovely rural-meet-bushland aspect, and isn't overly
developed - which would appeal to the traveller seeking a tranquil and
relaxed experience.
Diverse businesses make the region their home, from rock-climbing guiding
services, to lovely bed and breakfast cottages. There are many great bushwalks,
horse-riding trails, and climbing venues interspersed throughout the valley.
For those seeking a cuppa and a chat - the Wartook Pottery-Tearooms offers
relaxed dining and beverages to suit.
